C&R's not so secret weapon

Computerworld > Citizens & Ratepayers? secret weapon: Maurice Williamson

There is an article in Computerworld that features a couple of mates of mine, Maurice Williamson and Nicholas Albrecht.

The article is about C&R's software platform used to target voters in crucial wards in order to secure the council. The system was written by Maurice and gave an immense amount of useful information that allowed candidates to get out the vote in a very qualified way.

You would have to say it was effective because C&R secured 11 of the 19 seats on offer and some in "Tiger" country which shows that with good information systems and quality candidates you can achieve stunning results.

At least one other "ticket" used a system that has been touted around the market place for significant dollars and that ticket got no-where, was it the software or the candidates, hmmm, probably a little bit of both.
