Dear Cameron,

This is a follow email regarding the removal of your listing ‘Honorary Consul Position – 141996567’.

We’ve enjoyed watching your listing and the various questions members have asked, and the listing has gained quite a bit of attention which is great. However it’s also accrued a number of complaints, which is understandable when dealing with politics.

Due to the complaints, and due to the fact that the item itself isn’t actually something you can deliver, we’ve removed the listing. All fees have been refunded back to your account, and we hope you continue to enjoy being an active member of the Trade Me community.

Have a great week 🙂

If you have any further questions or if I can be of any further help please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

I am happy with this outcome, Trademe let it run and there were heaps of questions, I especially liked the guy who wanted to bid a long weekend romp with variously Rachel Hunter, Aja Rock, Nicky Watson and Gilda Kirkpatrick. I even scored a refund. Great! Clearly some people need to get a life, fancy complaining about that. It was obvious it was a pisstake, but then lefties are not known for sense of humour.

Now if National could just win the election then I’ll be able to make a fortune selling these for real.
