Labour is in big, big trouble

Parents think Government does not value them – 08 Feb 2008 – NZ Herald: New Zealand National news

If this story is true then Labour is in big, big trouble and this time in a demographic it has poured literally billions of dollars and one that Clark somehow maintained popularity….families.

But Two-thirds of parents feel the Government does not place much importance on their role in society.

A Research New Zealand poll of 500 people for the Families Commission has found that only 33 per cent of parents feel that the Government sees their role as “important” or “very important”.

Of course that has sparked an advertising campaign to make parents feel more valued….coincidentally it is election year and this is an important dempgraphic so there goes the forst $800,000 of unaccounted electioneering by stealth.
