Annette “Commonsense” King was asked a relatively simple question about whether or not the budget publicity planned by the Government would have to comply with the EFA. Her reply?
I think the best thing to do, for every member, whether a Minister or a member of Parliament, is go to where he or she can get proper advice, and it is certainly not from me.
So we have the bizarre situation where the minister responsible for ramming this legislation through the house no can no longer advise even her own felloe ministers about whether or the budget publicity will reflect the EFA.

As much at home writing editorials as being the subject of them, Cam has won awards, including the Canon Media Award for his work on the Len Brown/Bevan Chuang story. When he’s not creating the news, he tends to be in it, with protagonists using the courts, media and social media to deliver financial as well as death threats.
They say that news is something that someone, somewhere, wants kept quiet. Cam Slater doesn’t do quiet and, as a result, he is a polarising, controversial but highly effective journalist who takes no prisoners.
He is fearless in his pursuit of a story.
