"The science is settled" – my arse it is!

Helen Clark has said repeatedly as have the Chicken Littles in the Greens that “The science is settled” with respect to climate change. It’s bollocks of course and now the scientists are rebelling.

Now 32,000 “deniers” have got together to slam “Global Warming”. Yes that’s right 32,000 scientists say naf off its bollocks. They all signed the Oregon Petition which states;
“We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”
32,000, that sure is a lot of scientists who the science isn’t settled.

We should be strong and tell the UN to pfaff off, we should forthwith withdraw from Kyoto and then we won’t have billions trotting off to countries that have no intention of ever complying with Kyoto.
