Fool Repeaters talk crap

Today must be idiot’s day at the Herald. There is an article about the All Blacks in Bloemfontein and the idiot repeater over there, who goes by the name of Daniel Gilhooly, has told us that;

In the African language of Sesotho, Bloemfontein means “place of Cheetahs” and the All Blacks have responded in kind with the naming of their team to face South Africa.

Lets see what Wikipedia says about that.

Bloemfontein (pronounced /?blu?mf?nte?n/, Dutch for “spring of Bloem (bloom)”, “flower spring” or “fountain of flowers” is the capital city of the Free State Province of South Africa as well as one of the nation’s three capitals, the judicial capital. The city’s Sesotho name is Mangaung, meaning “place of cheetahs” and became part of the Mangaung Local Municipality in 2000.

Riiiiight so he was sort of right but actually so wrong because of the way he wrote it, or the sub-editor edited it. A quick check of the facts would go amiss, would it now?
