Chris Carter on his troughing and where he learned it from

Chris Carter has had a rant about the media attention to his troughing and racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer funded trips.

If anyone is really interested to know about why my transport costs as Minister of Education and Ethnic Affairs in 2008 were higher than some other Ministers they can visit my website. There you can see the names of some of the more than 300 schools and ECEs I visited as Minister of Education, and some of the more than 200 events I attended as Minister of Ethnic Affairs. I once went to eight Ethnic festivals in Auckland on one Saturday!

Thanks for the links Chris they were real handy. Now we know why he was one of the best at troughing. He was seeking advance from three of the worst troughers in the British Parliament.

Detailed below are the people who Chris Carter visited in the UK as per his website. Him and his “spouse” hung out with a bunch of gay UK MPs, most of whom have been smacked over expenses fraud!

Ben Bradshawfrom WikipediaIt was claimed in May 2009 that he exploited the MPs’ expenses system by claiming the entire interest bill on a property he shares with his partner in west London. Bradshaw has said claims made about his expenses were factually wrong.

Chris Bryantfrom WikipediaChris Bryant claimed over £92,000 in expenses over the five years leading up to the 2009 scandal over MPs’ expenses. During that time he flipped his second-home expenses twice, claimed mortgage interest expenses that started at £7,800 per year before rising (after flipping) to £12,000 per year. He also claimed £6,400 in stamp duty and other fees on his most recent purchase, and £6,000 per year in service charges. A claim that he made for £58,493.26, almost three times the annual maximum, in 2004, was disallowed.

David Lammyfrom WikipediaLammy’s second home expenses were published in March 2009 and they totalled £25,263 over a 5 year period, even though his first home is in London. He now claims a London supplement of £2812 instead.

Still the really strange behaviour is the insistance of Chris Carter on taking his “spouse” with him wherever he travels. The word is that this has been almost a policy since a Clark mandated trip to Australia to sort things out. I wonder if there is anything Chris Carter would like to share about personal life since we seem to be paying to keep the two of them together in happy “matrimony”.
