Not a case of SFNS

People have been emailing me and placing silly comments on unrelated posts asking why I haven’t commented on the mising girl in Auckland. Some are calling me racist seemingly because she is white and apparently has a silly first name.

Simply put so even the stupidest of troll can understand. This is not a case of Silly First Name Syndrome.

AISLING
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Irish
Pronounced: ASH-ling
Means “dream” or “vision” in Irish Gaelic.

Given that her sister is called Caitlin, another Irish Gaelic name there is a very strong possibility that the Symes are from Ireland. Unlike the made up names of others that I have highlighted as SFNS this for all intents and purposes looks like a family carrying on their heritage by naming their children from whence they came.

Right so have a thought for some people whose kid has been nicked and have some feeling for the kid and get off my back because I can do research better than you.

UPDATE: From Stuff, “Mr Symes, a native of Munster in Ireland, has lived in New Zealand for 20 years.”
