A new series of mental disorders currently under research

A recent article in the Australian Psychiatry, the journal of The Royal Australian and NZ College of Psychiatrists caught my attention.

It lists a new series of mental disorders currently under research.

I have decided to educate you all about them while having a bit of fun at the same time. This is not a serious or professional explanation of these new mental disorders.

Selfitis

Self-centeredness arising from the constant need for self-esteem reflected in the obsession of photographing one’s self to display the now called ‘selfies’ as trophies on social media internet websites.

Selfitis is closely related to Narcissism, Psychopathy, Machiavellianism and Self-Objectification.

Gender Dysphoria

Originally knows as Gender Identity Disorder as well as Transsexualism,?it is the condition of feeling one’s emotional and psychological identity as male or female to be opposite to one’s biological sex.

This condition is included within the broader term Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) together with those who identify with both genders or with neither gender (AKA GenderQueer).

Gender Disorder is generally associated with Dysmorphobia (Body Dysmorphic Disorder or BDD), as the obsessive idea that one’s own genitalia and gender derived physical characteristics are severely flawed and warrants exceptional measures to hide or fix them.

Utopian Psychosis

A mental disorder in which thought and emotions are impaired, losing contact with external reality and replacing it with a utopian reality, triggered by the feeling of a need for social rebellion against the current status quo.

The most affected groups of people with Utopian Psychosis are journalists, politicians and academics brainwashed with outdated philosophical schools.

Racial Identity Disorder

AKA Racial Dysphoria, is a real and valid condition affecting millions of people who genuinely believe they were born with the wrong skin colour.

The condition manifests from the psychological feeling of being ashamed of one’s own race and firmly believing that another race is superior; to a Body Dysmorphic Disorder that compels the sufferer to change their physical appearance to look like another race.

Within a socio-economical environment,?Racial Identity Disorder leads to institutions and even governments providing more care or special concessions to one race over another; creating positive discrimination; racial quotas; and even justifying abuse to human rights upon certain skin colours (most commonly against white people).

Defensive Paranoia

A delusion of being constantly offended with an exaggerated sense of self-importance. Commonly manifested on offsprings from overprotective parents who are politically correct.

Sufferers resist finding out the truth or historical reasons (or even doing a google search) for the statements or acts which they claim “hurt their feelings”.

Realiphobia

Manifesting as a permanent Adjustment Disorder is a fear to face one’s reality creating the desperate need to forever belong to a social body (such as a university, union or government) to become protected and have all personal needs cared for.

Most realiphobics seek refuge in ancient failed shielding doctrines such as Marxism, socialism and communism and tend to choose political careers within Left-wing environments.

Projected Dependent Personality Disorder

People with?Projected Dependent Personality Disorder assume that other people are emotionally overdependent on them and spend a lot of effort trying to “protect” others by constantly “defending” them with claims of racism and discrimination, etc.

Projected Dependent Personality Disorder?patients tend to display an active fighting behaviour and are commonly known on social media as Social Justice Warriors and Comedy Vigilantes.

Should our democracy require a mental health test for anyone aiming to be in a position of power or is being a little nuts a requirement these days?

What do you think?
