The truth will set us free

There is a growing community of people who want to hear the truth. The building sentiment is against lies, yet the lying machine is a well oiled one while the truth machine has been sitting in the long grass gathering cobwebs.

Nevertheless, it comes down to two things;

  • Lies versus truth
  • Hate versus love.

Now I don’t mean the namby-pamby, soy latte drinking, tree hugging, great melting pot, hashtagged version of love. That version of love got us where we are today when it morphed into tolerance, inclusivism and intersectionality. Because that version of love is a lie.

That version of love got Merkel to believe that she should open her gates to a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She is a shining example of another lie that love is blind.

Love is not blind, that is the truth. Love is many things but one thing love does is it protects. Protecting something requires sharp vision.

We love New Zealand and so we need to protect it.

Love allows discipline. For example, if a parent sees their child doing wrong, they could ignore it (which would prove they really don’t care or love their child), or they could discipline the child (because…do I have to explain?) But the lie is that disciplining is wrong. Discipline gets twisted into the strawman smacking argument. True discipline is in the word. We should be disciplined in our thoughts and actions.?The lie?is?that?discipline is bad and now we have a world full of undisciplined people who are undisciplined in their thoughts and actions.

It is likely that many of you who were married had the celebrant read the go-to bible passage on love. Interestingly it was not written as a nice piece by Apostle Paul but as a rather pointed slur on the Corinthian Church who had allowed false things into their midst. It is therefore quite apt for the world in general today, where our societies have brought in all manner of things contrary to a good society.

No matter what your leanings are, just read this.

Love is patient,
Love is kind,
It is not envious.
Love does not brag,
It is not puffed up.
It is not rude,
It is not self-serving,
It is not easily angered or resentful.
It is not glad about injustice but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Now pick any person currently in the news and weigh them against that. It really puts into perspective. Now the big challenge.

Take the Molyneux/Southern banning situation and weigh those who are opposed. Weigh up the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand, Auckland Pride Action and Phil Goff.

Now weigh up Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneuz.

Which side demonstrates love and conversely which side upholds hate?
Which one exposes the lies with the truth?

Understand and break it down into these simple things and it helps to gain a very good picture of what is happening

There! I hope that makes sense. If it did then I managed to bible bash you without you knowing! If it did resonate, then that is simply because it is the truth.

John 8:32b …and the truth shall set you free.
