Surprise: Another millionaire celebrity spruiks socialism

Caption: The face you make when a multi-millionaire celebrity tells you to embrace socialism.

When it comes to political-economic policy prescriptions, naturally the world looks to multi-millionaire celebrities with a high-school education and a career built on making stupid faces. Quote:

Comedian Jim Carrey says Democrats need to stop running from Republican attacks and ?say yes to socialism?. End of quote.

Well, of course, he does. George Orwell derided ?that dreary phenomenon, the middle-class person who is an ardent Socialist?. These over-privileged morons have the luxury of ?espousing? socialism because they know perfectly well that they?ll never have to live with it. Quote:

His comment came after Mr. Maher complained that Republicans have targeted progressive Democrats who identify themselves as socialist by throwing up the Venezuela example.

?But that word? The Democrats need to get a plan to fight this slander of, ?Socialism, you?re going to be living in Venezuela,?? said Mr. Maher. End of quote.

It?s not a ?slander?: it?s a fact. Socialism has failed, everywhere it?s been tried, every time. Venezuela is just the lastest, miserable proof of the horrific cost of socialism. Millionaire leftists like Maher and Carrey live like feudal lords, behind walls and gates, and surrounded by lickspittle courtiers who never prick the bubble of their smug self-righteousness. As Orwell said, socialism ?appeals chiefly to unsatisfactory or even inhuman types?[who] cling like glue to their miserable fragments of social prestige?. Quote:

Republicans pounced after a number of up-and-coming left-wing candidates?led by New York?s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America?picked off established Democrats in this year?s primary contests. End quote.

Ocasio-Cortez is a gibbering, deceitful ignoramus. Despite claiming to be a working-class shmo from the Bronx, she actually grew up in one of the richest gated communities in America. Like her elder statesman, Bernie Sanders, she is unable to even articulate a coherent description of what socialism actually is. Instead, she spouts virtue-signalling nonsense, and the toadies of the left media eat it up and regurgitate for their ignorant child-followers to swallow uncritically. Quote:

?Medicare for all, ending student debt, a different approach to the war on terror, ending mass incarceration? End of quote.

And rainbow unicorn rides, lemonade fountains, and roads paved with cotton-candy. Notably, two of Maher’s talking-points don’t even have anything to do with socialism. If anything, socialism doesn’t?end mass incarceration, it makes it the norm. Ever hear of the gulags, Bill? The Killing Fields?

But it?s easy to promise paradise when you know perfectly well you?ll never have to foot the bill for the hell you help create. Quote:

Brent Bozell, president of the conservative Media Research Center, called on Mr. Carrey to set an example by giving away his own wealth. End of quote.

Scrooge McDuck would part with a dime sooner than a millionaire celebrity socialist will live by their high-falutin? jibber-jabber. Jim Carrey likes to talk a lot about how money didn’t buy him happiness, but he seems strangely reluctant to do without it.
