The bulletproof backpack

Israeli company Masada-Armour says its unique backpack transforms into a bulletproof vest that deploys in under two seconds by flipping out an armoured plate from a concealed compartment.

The standard protection claims to stop handgun bullets while upgraded versions can block rifle fire.

The basic version weighs 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds) and sells for $500. The upgraded version, weighing 4.2 kilograms (9 pounds) costs $750.
