Born today in 1951, Chrissie Hynde singer, songwriter and guitarist with The Pretenders.

Born today in 1953, Marc Hunter songwriter and original lead singer with Dragon.

Born today in 1954, Benmont Tench, keyboards with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

Today in 1968, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham made their live debut, billed as The New Yardbirds in Copenhagen.
