Born today in 1948, John Lees songwriter, singer and guitarist with Barclay James Harvest.

Born today in 1954, Trevor Rabin?songwriter, singer and guitarist with Yes.

Born today in 1957, Don Snow (now known as Jonn Savannah) keyboards with many acts including Squeeze, Tina Turner and Van Morrison.

Born today in 1961, Graham ?Suggs? McPherson singer and songwriter with Madness.

Today in 1968, Johnny Cash went to Folsom State Prison in California to record a live album. It was later released as “Live At Folsom Prison?.

Died today in 2016, Giorgio Gomelsky, as owner of the Crawdaddy Club he was involved in early management and promotion of The Rolling Stones (who were the Crawdaddy house band at the time) and was early manager and producer of The Yardbirds (who replaced the Stones as the resident band).
