Oswiecim, Camp of Death: Underground Report (Polish Labor Group, March 1944)
From one of the first English-language accounts of Auschwitz (the German spelling of ?Oswiecim?), originally published in Polish in 1942 as Ob?z ?mierci. Written before the camp?s use as a site of Jewish extermination accelerated, the report puts its focus on Polish suffering, though it does mention in passing other ?camps established in conjunction with the Nazi campaign to liquidate the European Jews? at Belzec, Sobibor, and ?Tremblinka? [sic].
