No surprise to discover media lied to us, but why are they still doing it?

Is there one single Trump defender surviving inside the New Zealand media?

If Mueller had found Donald Trump guilty of colluding with the Russians we?d be deafened by loud cackling, hands rubbing together with glee and dozens of ?I told you so? headlines regurgitating everything they?ve been telling us for the last three years.

New Zealand media wanted and expected Trump to be found guilty. Proof is in the deafening media silence and pathetic attempts to reduce Trump’s vindication to a pyrrhic victory.

David Von Drehle is guilty of the latter. On the back of Trump’s win he churns out lies under the headline ?Donald Trump owes Robert Mueller an apology.” Quote.

Mueller has endured a nearly constant barrage of insults and character assassination from a Twittering President Donald Trump and his bootlicking propagandists.? End of quote.

What could possibly be more character assassinating than a president forced to defend himself against trumped up charges of treason for three years?

Trump called the Mueller investigation a ?witch-hunt?, ?hoax? and ?deep state? conspiracy which is hardly a personal attack on Mueller’s career.

In any case, Mueller got huge support from the media for pursuing such a big target for them which was more than enough compensation for dealing with any number of annoying tweets.

And where is the ?hard evidence? of Trump?s collusion with the Russians that the media faithfully reported from the mouths of a barrage of lying Democrats? Quote.

There is only one explanation for the president’s relentless attacks. He thought that Mueller was likely to throw the book at him.?End of quote.

Oh, but there is another more plausible and factual explanation; but it is one that media rejected. It is that the president knew he and his family were innocent.

Trump?s ?relentless attacks? were his Twitter defence to trial by a media who had already pronounced him guilty. Quote.

America had an unpleasant job that needed doing. The president of the United States had surrounded himself with people who lied about their contacts with highly placed Russians. He had fired the director of the FBI, James Comey, and within hours he personally assured the Russian ambassador that he did so to shut down an inquiry into these lies.? End of quote.

A newspaper

The media love half truths! The president did hire some people who turned out to be untrustworthy, but the liars that surrounded him were mostly media.

Mueller did not find one person in Trump?s team guilty of colluding with the Russians. Not one! There was no collusion.

Did the president fire Comey because he wanted to shut down Mueller?s enquiry? The White House press secretary statement emphatically says no. Quote.

By grandstanding and politicizing the investigation into Russia?s actions, James Comey created unnecessary pressure on our ability to engage and negotiate with Russia,? Mr. Spicer said. ?The investigation would have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have ended it. Once again, the real story is that our national security has been undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations.? End of quote.

The New York Times

Media may twist the facts all they like, but the truth will emerge in the end. The writer of this biased view of Trump?s personal Spanish inquisition ends his shameful diatribe praising Mueller over Trump with these big fat porkies. Quote.

He [Mueller] was called under difficult circumstances to drill straight down to a bedrock of facts and tell us, without bias, without slant, what he found. This was his job – our job – and it has been unpleasant indeed.?

end quote.

Without bias and without slant? Unpleasant? These are vomit producing words.

Media attacking Trump are like pigs wallowing in sh*t. They revel in it. They throw it into lies that, even after proven wrong, they still reproduce.

I hope media find it particularly galling that, despite their best efforts, Trump still comes up smelling of roses. It certainly gives me great delight.
