The hate crime wave no one talks about

If you were to believe the left-media elite, America is awash with the ‘hate crimes’ of evil whiteys targeting anyone with a slightly dusky complexion. The left are so convinced of this narrative that they believed, against all evidence, the ludicrous hoax perpetrated by actor Jussie Smollett. Indeed, even after Smollett’s clumsy hoax was exposed beyond doubt, many on the left continue to claim that he is somehow a ‘victim’.

But if a ‘hate crime’ is distinguished by a disparity between the race of the victim and the perpetrator, it seems that there are a whole lot of very real crimes going on that appear pretty ‘hatey’. It’s just that the left-media don’t like to talk about them much.

Because both the victims and the perpetrators don’t fit the narrative. quote.

Two men were arrested for allegedly killing a 32-year-old woman in a parking lot at a Garden Grove shopping center. The two men allegedly tried to rob Nga Ngoc Nguyen of her purse when she fell under the getaway car and was run over. Giovanni Solomon Guy, 20, and Gregory Walker, 19, of Los Angeles were charged with robbery and murder on Friday, while Maurice Brown Jr, 19, was charged with one felony count of robbery, reports ABC 7.

San Jose police arrested a man who they said targeted Asian women for their purses. 26-year-old Pablo Cabrera was arrested after he was allegedly caught on surveillance video snatching a purse from his most recent victim. The terrifying video shows the victim being dragged down the stairs by a man, with her child in hand. end quote. quote.

On Friday around 5 pm, 38-year-old, Kenneth Wong was walking home from work when the attack happened. The attack happened in Brooklyn, New York, near Chestnut Street and Glenmore Avenue. A couple of the teenagers approached him from behind and one of them slashed Wong in the back of the head. Another one punched Wong in the head which caused him to fall on to the pavement. While he was on the ground, one teenager repeatedly stomped him, while another rifled through his pockets […]

Yanika Williams, 41, told the NY Daily News that her 15-year-old son and the other teenagers were “good kids” that made a bad choice…“They’re not bad kids or menaces to society. They’re good kids.”

The father of a 13-year-old suspect said, “Kids when they jump together do stupid things.”

A 74-year-old man is dead after a woman pushed him off a city bus in downtown Las Vegas — allegedly because he told her to be nicer to other passengers.

Cadesha Bishop, 25, of Las Vegas, was arrested on a warrant Monday and charged with murder in the death of Serge Fournier, 74, also of Las Vegas…Bishop allegedly grabbed her son’s hand and walked away without stopping to offer Fournier help, the report says. end quote.

Notice any kind of pattern here? Now, it could be well argued that these don’t meet the strict definition of ‘hate crime’, “motivated by hostility to the victim as a member of a group”, but does anyone seriously doubt that if the perpetrators were white and the victims ‘people of colour’ the media would have any hesitation screaming about hate crime?

Most crimes by racial groups target members of their own group. But while certainly racial groups are all less likely to target members of other groups than their own, data is clear that black offenders are far more likely to target other races than any other group. Part of this may well be down to racial animosity, including the apparent dislike many black Americans feel towards Asians, or the well-known if rarely talked about animus Hispanics hold for blacks (such as the little-reported outbreaks of lynchings in LA some years ago). It is also, no doubt, due in some measure to the sort of grim criminal calculus expressed by one gang member in Australia, that “Curries are easy targets because they’re rich and they don’t fight back”.

Either way, the media myth that ‘hate’ crime (a tautology if there ever was) is exclusively  the domain of ‘racist’ whites is evidently as bogus as any other legacy media narrative.
