I put no weight whatsoever in the government’s empty platitudes that the most vulnerable will not be at risk from coercion.
We only have to look at the other end of the life scale to prove how useless government is at administering laws meant to protect the most vulnerable in our society.
With all the millions of taxpayer dollars, government departments, specialised and targeted wrap-around services our record on beaten and murdered children are among the worst in the developed world. How can we trust the government to protect those at the end of their lives, when they can’t even protect them at the beginning?
