Dan Carter

WO Property: NZ Herald editor’s millionaire’s pad

I got the idea for this segment from a NZ Herald piece yesterday. I figured if it is OK for them then it is OK for me.

NZ Herald editor Shayne Alexander Currie is sitting on a goldmine in one of the leafy suburbs of the isthmus of Auckland.

He owns a property at Valley Rd in Mt Eden. It?s a Grammar Zone, iconic Mt Eden Villa. The Whitepages suggests an S Currie has a phone subscription at that home too. How quaint. ? Read more »

Richie McCaw and Dan Carter join me on the list of people John Key isn’t allowed to txt

The Media party are making a big song and dance because John Key txts Richie McCaw and Dan Carter.

Only they would think the PM shouldn’t be allowed to txt people, like their massive fuss over whether or not John Key txts me.

Prime Minister John Key?has revealed he texted?former All Blacks Richie McCaw and Dan Carter to draw their attention to his video promoting a flag change.

Both high-profile All Blacks went on to publicly?support the alternative?flag design that was defeated in a public referendum?in March.

Key’s chief of staff, Wayne Eagleson, disclosed details of the texts?after an Official Information Act request, NZME reported. ? Read more »

Quick someone tell Nicky, he can hack the All Blacks emails next

A pommy bastard reckons the All Blacks are into the dark arts…”Dirty Rugby” even.

Quick someone tell Nicky so he can hack the All Blacks and spike the next World Cup 6 weeks out from?the?first game.

The All Blacks are “a cynical bunch of b…….” who are not averse to using the dark arts, according to former England international Paul Ackford.

The All Blacks on Sunday (NZ time) became world champions for the third time after they beat Australia 34-17 in the Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham.

Ackford shared his glowing admiration of New Zealand rugby but he also wrote in his column in The Times?that one aspect of the All Blacks’ success had been “grievously under-reported” – their “cynical” streak.

He pointed the finger firmly at Aaron Smith and the “saintly” Dan Carter as the All Blacks’ chief perpetrators and also criticised the performance of Welsh referee Nigel Owens, saying his well known rapport with the players was “lapsing into banter”.

Internet Party vote winning strategy: harassing All Blacks

Oh dear, look who is at the bottom of the list

Readers Digest has released their “Most Trusted” list of Kiwis…and predictably Willie Apiata is at the top of the list.

Politicians are as trustworthy as sex workers and Willie Apiata, VC, is – again – the most trusted of all New Zealanders, according to an annual survey on the country’s most trusted people and professions.

The 10th annual New Zealand Reader’s Digest Trust Survey revealed a skew towards sports stars and emergency service workers as those whom Kiwis put the most faith in.

Mr Apiata took out the top spot as the most trusted of 100 well-known Kiwis, followed by Northland doctor and champion of Maori health care Lance O’Sullivan and All Blacks captain Richie McCaw.

But look who is at the bottom of the list:

99. Kim Dotcom, internet entrepreneur
100. Hone Harawira, Mana Party leader

Fundraising Ideas For Labour, Ctd

Over at Trade Me there is an auction for an Ecoya candle of Dan Carter’s foot and calf muscle.

I cannot see the attraction of burning a candle of another man’s leg at all but in the spirit of generosity I have another idea for New Zealand politics’ biggest charity case at present, the Labour Party. ?Call it a wee mid-winter gift from the Whale.

Labour faithful can auction off wax replica of:

– David Cunliffe’s chin – now he has shaved?we are reminded that he doesn’t really have one.

– David Shearer’s backbone – the only proof that he actually has one would be a wax replica as we are yet to see it.

– Trevor Mallard’s – no lets not go there so?being an expert in not using “buy now”, “Trade Me” Trev can run the auction.

Su’a William Sio’s foot – the one that is not stuck in his mouth presently.

– Jacinda Ardern’s teeth – it would be sexist to suggest any other body part and all comments related to will be deleted.

Clayton Cosgrove’s plugs – that hair isn’t staying up there on its own.

Clare Curran’s long FMB’s – ?it would be sexist to suggest any body part and all comments related to will be deleted.

– Parekura Horomia’s thigh – may lead to a run on soy futures but worth a go.

– Shane Jones’ right hand – like Carter’s scar Jones’ hand would have genuine scuff marks included.

Be kind spirited enough to leave your suggestions in the comments. ?All replica can be scribed by Dear Leader (Helen Clark) as a genuine?replica wax.

Movember – Almost there

Movember - Changing the Face of a Men's Health

Almost there folks, with contributions of a $100.00 each from Aaron Gilmore and Craig Foss I am creeping toward the top 50 and currently sitting at 63.

I challenge all other National and Act MP’s to better their donations especially the ones I interviewed for the BlogMobile. Don’t let Cactus Kate and David Farrar show you up.

Let’s show Movember some real Tory Charity. Donate here, and think of the poor Labour MP’s as they suffer under the depression of losing the election.

Remember, all donations over $10 are tax deductible.

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men’s health issues and donated to the Cancer Society of New Zealand and the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. These two charities will use the money raised to fund research and increase support networks for those affected with prostate cancer and experiencing depression especially those poor Labour MP’s.

King and Cunliffe – a safe pair of hands?

Am I wrong or was it King & Cunliffe who were responsible for the big hooha over the Hawkes Bay District Health Board?

What is with the media repeating that they are a safe pair of hands and are so competent?

There is a little court case coming up which should show just how incompentent and meddling these two really are. I also expect to see Craig Foss and Chirs Tremain stirring up a fair bit of a stink over this debacle now they are in government.

Just because they are now in opposition doesn’t mean I am going to stop smacking them when they deserve it.
