The Stained Blue Dress?

In November 1997, Monica Lewinsky told her confidant and supposed friend, Linda Tripp, that she had in her possession a blue Gap dress that still bore the semen stain that resulted from her administering oral sex to President Clinton in February of that year.

Tripp called her literary agent, and fellow Clinton-hater, Lucianne Goldberg to report the news that evidence existed in Lewinsky’s closet that could prove a sexual relationship between Monica and the President. Goldberg and Tripp, according to published reports in both Time and Newsweek, discussed stealing the dress and turning it over to investigators. Goldberg admitted having such a discussion with Tripp, calling it a “Nancy Drew fantasy.”

In late November, Lewinsky mentioned to Tripp that she intended to have the dress, which she had been saving a souvenir, dry-cleaned for a family event. Tripp, anxious to preserve the dress to nail the President, discouraged her from doing so. “I would tell my own daughter,” Tripp told her, that she should save the dress “for your own ultimate protection” should she later be accused of lying about the affair with Clinton. When Lewinsky expressed skepticism that it would ever come to that, Tripp told her that the dress made her look “really fat” and she shouldn’t wear it again in public.

EXCLUSIVE: “Grandma” strikes back. Your move, Mr Craig

If you didn’t catch last night’s article where Colin Craig sent a rather impressive letter to someone, you’ll need to catch up first. ? Then come back and read this.

Whaleoil has obtained “Grandma”‘s reply to Mr Craig’s letter.

19 November 2015

Mr Craig

Re your email of 18 November 2015.

LEAVE ME ALONE! I consider your post-litigation email between us, which decided in my favour, a re-opening of matters already decided by the court and you harassing me because you did not like that result. This appears to be the case, from your reference too!

“You will recall that you previously made allegations of fraud (or theft) at the ERA hearing between us and you were required to retract these allegations at the hearing after we had independent auditors show you were wrong.” You are silly re-litigating the Court’s decision which was in my favour

I would suggest that you do not contact me in any way, not by phone, txt, email or visit me. In failing this I will have no alternative but to go to the Police. You are therefore on notice from today, being 19 November 2015. Read more »

Hell hath no fury like Defamation Accused scorned

When Colin Craig announced he was going to take three people to court and claim defamation, the reactions have been as varied as the people involved. ? I’ve learned the power of using silence and time as a strategy since Dirty Politics. ?Williams didn’t even wait to get served and absolutely blitzkrieged Colin Craig with a defamation suit of his own. ?And then there’s Stringer, who’s been on a continous, mad, ?public push to show the world that defamation doesn’t hold up in the face of facts with a relentless series of public statements.

Stringer’s almost been obsessive at digging around and unearthing new lines of investigation into Colin Craig’s conduct. ? Today, Stringer’s told the world he’s laid yet another complaint with police against Colin Craig.

A second police complaint has been laid against Colin Craig with Wellington Police, after advice from the High Court and Justice, and Police, ?related to allegations Mr Craig has been interfering with witnesses to the defence of the $750,000 defamation suit Craig filed against John Stringer in?the Christchurch High Court last week.

“The allegations cite an email Colin Craig counter-wrote to several witnesses Mr Stringer had already written to in preparing his defence against Craig. The email [from Craig] advised how the witnesses should testify. Craig instructed witnesses to not assist the defence and suggested they get together (with Stringer excluded). Police are investigating,” Mr Stringer said.

Colin can now add alleged witness tampering to his list of troubles. ? ?But it doesn’t end there. ? Read more »
